Woven geotextile is a permeable geosynthetic material manufactured from synthetic fibers through industrial weaving technology. It features a regular network structure interlaced by warp and weft yarns, delivering high tensile strength, excellent permeability, and outstanding dimensional stability. Widely used in geotechnical, hydraulic, transportation and environmental projects, it performs separation, reinforcement, filtration and protection functions, complying with international standards including ASTM D 4439 and AASHTO M 288.
Made primarily from polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) with UV-resistant, anti-aging and acid-alkali resistant modification, our woven geotextile ensures long-term performance in harsh soil conditions.
- Raw materials are melted, extruded and drawn into high-strength filaments or flat yarns.
- Yarns are woven into stable fabrics via plain, twill or satin weaving for customized strength and permeability.
- Finished fabrics undergo heat setting, anti-aging coating and edge trimming for consistent quality and dimensional stability.
- Tensile strength: 20–200 kN/m (machine direction), 15–180 kN/m (cross direction)
- Elongation: 5%–25%
- Permeability coefficient: 0.01–0.1 cm/s
- Mass per unit area: 100–400 g/m²
- Width: 1–6 m (customizable)
- Resistant to acid, alkali, UV, microbial degradation, puncture and tearing
- Separation: Separates different soil and aggregate layers to maintain structural integrity.
- Reinforcement: Distributes stress, improves soil bearing capacity and controls deformation.
- Filtration: Allows water passage while retaining soil particles to prevent piping and erosion.
- Protection: Shields structures and geomembranes from erosion, impact and puncture damage.

- Transportation: Highway, railway, airport runway stabilization and foundation separation
- Hydraulic engineering: Dams, canals, coastal revetments and erosion control
- Geotechnical engineering: Slope reinforcement, foundation support and landfill lining
- Environmental & agricultural: Irrigation, wetland construction and soil conservation
- High tensile strength and low elongation for superior structural stability
- Cost-effective and suitable for large-scale projects
- Lightweight, easy to transport, handle and install
- Excellent durability and long service life in aggressive environments
- Eco-friendly and compliant with green construction requirements
