Project Overview
This project is a coastal container terminal yard constructed on marine muddy soft soil. The yard bears heavy and stacked container loads, requiring extremely strict settlement control standards for long-term port operation.

Project Pain Points
The marine soft soil features low bearing capacity and high compressibility. Heavy container stacking easily causes excessive differential settlement, which leads to track deformation and affects normal container handling operation.

Selected Product
Biaxial warp-knitted PET geogrid with a tensile strength of 120kN/m.

Construction Scheme
The polyester geogrid is deployed as the base reinforcement layer, cooperating with the drainage consolidation method to improve the overall bearing performance of the soft foundation.

Implementation Effect
The geogrid effectively improves the overall foundation stiffness and disperses concentrated container stacking loads. Differential foundation settlement is significantly reduced, fully meeting the long-term heavy-load service requirements of the port container yard.
